The Stata Prof+ Plan makes it both easy and inexpensive for faculty and staff at select universities to own single-user licenses of Stata. Stata Prof+ Plan licenses are not limited in any way—they give you access to everything in Stata, but at special low prices. You will receive a full-featured, robust version of Stata with each purchase—no additional modules, no additional fees. The price for perpetual Stata Prof+ Plan licenses as well as the upgrades of perpetual Stata Prof+ Plan licenses includes the first year of maintenance.

Universities also can order Stata single-user licenses for groups of students at these discounted Stata Prof+ Plan prices. The university needs to guarantee that the licenses will be used only by students and that the licenses will be registered in the names of the students. The licenses can be bought and kept in stock by the university, and at a later point be registered to students. The starting point for time limited licenses is counted from the time of registration, not from the time of purchase.
